CRON job
* * * * * /usr/bin/php /full/path/to/hirevia/artisan schedule:run >> /dev/null 2>&1
Replace the PHP binary and `/full/path/to/hirevia/artisan` with your server’s values. The install-complete screen prints the exact command for your install.
Add from cPanel
Access Cpanel
Log in to cPanel and open Cron Jobs (use the search bar if you do not see it).
Add New Cron Job
Under Add New Cron Job, set the schedule to Once Per Minute (* * * * *), or set every field (Minute, Hour, Day, Month, Weekday) to *.
Paste Command
In Command, paste the installer command, for example:
/usr/local/bin/php /home/USERNAME/public_html/artisan schedule:run >> /dev/null 2>&1
Use the PHP path cPanel shows next to the form if php alone is the wrong version (common examples: /usr/local/bin/php, /opt/cpanel/ea-php83/root/usr/bin/php). The path to artisan is a filesystem path — not a URL.
Save and Activate
Click Add New Cron Job and confirm it appears in the list. Turn off cron email notifications if your host emails on every run.
Do not run php artisan queue:work as a long-running process on shared hosting — hosts kill it. The every-minute schedule:run cron drains the queue for you.
What it runs
- Queue jobs (reports, CV parsing, recording fetch, emails)
- Subscription expiry (when SaaS Billing is enabled)
Without cron, interviews may finish but reports stay “building”, and recordings may never appear.
