Coupon overview
How it works​
- Admin creates a coupon under Finance → Coupons (code, percent or amount off, applies to plans / packs / both).
- Optional limits: max redemptions, per-user limits, duration (once / repeating / forever where the gateway allows).
- Featured coupons can show as a sticky promo on
`/pricing`and`/user/billing`. - At checkout the candidate enters the code; Hirevia validates it, then starts the gateway session with the discounted amount.
Gateway sync​
Coupons use the same catalog mapping pattern as plans (`billing_gateway_mappings`).
- Auto sync — Saving an active coupon pushes it to gateways that advertise coupon support. Gateways without coupon support are skipped.
- Field intersection — Admin coupon fields (percent vs amount off, durations, redemption limits) are limited to what all enabled coupon gateways support.
- Out of sync — Finance → Coupons shows a banner when a mapping failed or a new coupon-capable gateway was added. Use Resync to push active coupons again.
- Resync blocked — Resync needs at least one coupon-capable gateway configured and at least one active coupon.
danger
PayPal and several regional gateways do not sync Hirevia coupons in this release. Prefer Stripe when discounts are a must-have. A coupon that only exists in Hirevia admin will not discount checkout on an unsupported gateway.

Gateway notes​
Stripe has the richest coupon support in this release. PayPal and several regional gateways may not apply Hirevia coupons — prefer Stripe when discounts are required.
